Rerip is a 501c3 organization and appreciates your tax-deductible donation. Run by a team of volunteers, Rerip sets up locations for people to drop off their unwanted boards, fins and wetsuits. Always advocating for a cleaner surf industry, Rerip also hosts local events and awareness campaigns for surf and environmental education. Any amount helps Rerip grow its programs.
Summer is here, and for the Solana Beach community, that means gearing up for the 5th Annual Iron Mike Festival! The Sunday, August 13th, 2017 event has something to offer for all beach-goes: a SUP and prone paddle race; a 16 and under Gromorama surf contest; surfboard demos; and a festival including a board swap, live music, art auction, and a beer garden.Proceeds from the event will benefit a scholarship fund designated for outdoor, life-saving endeavors which help celebrate and honor Mike--the young lifeguard who passed away in a tragic ski accident before his time. This day is put together by volunteers who are interested in keeping Mike's good vibe strong in our community.
The event is presented by the City of Solana Beach, Solana Beach Lifeguard Association, and Rerip: Reduce, Reuse, Reride. How to Participate: Traditional sponsorship levels are below. We welcome new, creative ideas for the event.
